Phillip Goldfeder is a Democratic New York State Assembly member from the borough of Queens. Goldfeder is a resident of the Far Rockaway neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. On September 13, 2011 Goldfeder, a former aide to Michael Bloomberg and Charles Schumer,[1] was elected during a special election to the New York State Assembly, succeeding long time assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer.[2]

In May 2012, Goldfeder was named one of City & State's "Albany Rising Stars: 40 under 40" [3] for being a young influential member of New York City politics.[4]
