Phyllis Connor was born in the late 1920s. She is a cosmetics model from the 1960s. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and later moved to New York City, New York, to persue a career in professional modeling. She was Estee Lauder, Inc.'s first exclusive spokesmodel in the earlier half of the decade. She not only is a model but also a talented artist.
Ms. Connor was Estee Lauder's first spoksemodel roughly from 1962 to 1965. Karen Harris replaced her as the second spokesmodel for Estee Lauder. The ads in which Phyllis appeared were photographed by Victor Skrebneski, who would photograph for future Estee Lauder spokesmodels through 1993. Her photos represented some of the most current fashions of the time as well as Estee Lauder makeup. Some of her most famous photos can be found in one of Victor Skrebneski's books 5 Beautiful Women.
