The Pied Puffbird (Notharchus tectus) is a species of puffbird in the Bucconidae family.
It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
