Pine Creek (Mahantango Creek)

Pine Creek is a 23.7-mile-long (38.1 km)[1] tributary of Mahantango Creek in western Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania in the United States.[2]

Pine Creek rises on Broad Mountain north of Tremont and flows west, passing the villages of Hegins and Valley View. Shortly before its end, it turns north and cuts through a water gap in Mahantango Mountain.

Pine Creek joins Mahantango Creek near the census-designated place of Klingerstown.[2]


Deep Creek joins Pine Creek near the community of Spring Glen, approximately 8 miles (13 km) upstream of Mahantango Creek.[2]
