Pittsburgh Classical Academy (known as PCA) has an academic program that focuses on classical history. The PCA is located in the Greenway building with the Pittsburgh Gifted Center. Academic courses include Communications, Computers, Health, Library, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, and Spanish. Interdisciplinary units are organized around ancient civilizations: Egyptians, Greeks and Romans in grade six, Middle Ages and Renaissance in grade seven and U.S. History in grade eight. The Academy's partnership with the Society for Contemporary Craft focuses on visual arts to enhance student learning. Pittsburgh Public Schools.
