PlacePunch

PlacePunch is a location-based marketing platform[1] that online marketers use to run location-based marketing programs on foursquare, Facebook and Twitter.[1][2][3]

PlacePunch features include loyalty programs, sweepstakes and location-based messaging.[3][4] Businesses using PlacePunch include Holiday Inn, Food Lion and Arby's.[5]

Company[edit]

PlacePunch was founded in 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia by Adam Steinberg and Chris Glace.[3][6] In 2011, Silverpop, a digital marketing technology provider that offers email marketing and marketing automation solutions,[7] acquired PlacePunch.[1][8] PlacePunch is now a key part of Silverpop’s Social Connect collection of products and features.[4][6][9]
