Platinum Sound Recording Studios is an elite recording studio and mixing facility at the heart of Times Square in Manhattan, New York City, located on restaurant row in the theater district owned by Jerry Wonda.[1] Platinum Sound provides access to industry-leading equipment and pristine vintage gear.

Platinum Sound Recording Studios has three studios; Studio J, K and the Penthouse.[2]

  • Studio J

Studio J is a remarkable sounding room that features an 80 channel Solid State Logic SL9000J with Ultimation and Total Recall, custom 3-way main monitor system by George Augspurger with dual 18" JBL subs, Yamaha NS-10's, Pro Tools 10HD, and a variety of the latest outboard gear.

  • Studio K

Studio K hosts an 80 channel Solid State Logic XL9000K with Ultimation and Total Recall, custom Augspurger/TAD main monitor system with 18" JBL subs, Yamaha NS10's, and Pro Tools 10 HD. It is also 5.1 capable, perfect for overdubbing, ADR, pre and post-production.

  • Penthouse

The Penthouse is the ideal production room for writing sessions, video editing sessions and recording vocals. Complete with a digital Yamaha 02R multi-purpose console, Dynaudio monitors, vocal booth, Protools HD 9, Final Cut Pro, SSL Super Analog Channel Strip, and a large variety of the latest plug-ins.
