Pobox.com is a service of IC Group, Inc. Pobox.com is sometimes used to refer to both the service and its parent company. The company and service were founded in 1995 by Meng Weng Wong and Reuven Bell while they were students at the University of Pennsylvania. The service began as an email aliasing and forwarding solution but has since expanded its offerings.
It is known in the internet community for having proposed the RFC for SPF, a proposal for fixing SMTP. As an e-mail service provider, primarily of mail forwarding services, Pobox.com has a vested interest in reform. The company manages corporate e-mail and offers spam filtering using RBLs and Cloudmark Authority.

- Email Forwarding allows users to forward their pobox.com email to one or more email addresses.
- Spam Protection filters junk mail from users email. The spam filters are customizable.
- Email Filters allow users to delete messages, send message to other email address and to their cellphones and pagers.

- Webmail allows users to access their email online.
