Polly with a Past is a 1920 American silent film produced and distributed by Metro Pictures and directed by Leander de Cordova. This film is based on a 1917 Broadway stage play produced by David Belasco that starred Ina Claire, and it is Claire who stars and reprises her stage role for this film. Clifton Webb, later a famous star in films, has an early unbilled screen appearance in this film. As with many Metro productions from the late teens and early twenties, this film is lost.[1] [2] [3]
