Pope John Paul II High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Slidell, Louisiana. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans.


Pope John Paul II High School was established in 1980.[2] The first Principal of Pope John Paul II was Glenn Gennaro. Since then, there have been five principals: James Klassen, Lawrence Keller, Carmen Schexnaildre, and the present principal Richard Berkowitz, and the most recent who will begin her principalship in August 2011, Martha Mundine.


Pope John Paul II High School offers a variety of honors classes and four Advanced Placement courses. AP courses include Biology II, Calculus, Chemistry II and European History.
