Porangaba

Coordinates: 23°10′33″S 48°07′30″W / 23.17583°S 48.125°W Porangaba is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 was 7,189 and the area is 267.48 km². The elevation is 525 m. This place's name comes from the Tupi language.[citation needed]
