Billie Joe Armstrong (born February 17, 1972) is the Oakland-born lead vocalist, chief songwriter and guitarist for the band Green Day. He is also a guitarist and vocalist for the rock band Pinhead Gunpowder and sings for garage rock band Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Mike Dirnt (born Michael Ryan Pritchard on May 4, 1972) is an American musician who is currently the bassist and backing vocalist for the American rock band Green Day. While at school, he would play "air-bass." While pretending to pluck the strings, he made the noise, "dirnt, dirnt, dirnt," so his schoolmates started to call him "Mike Dirnt".

Tré Cool (born Frank Edwin Wright III; December 9, 1972) is a German-born American drummer for the punk rock band Green Day. He replaced the band's former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1989. He has also played in Samiam, The Lookouts, and the Green Day side projects The Network and Foxboro Hot Tubs.

John Kiffmeyer (also known as Al Sobrante), was born on July 11, 1969. He is the former drummer of the punk rock/alternative rock band Green Day. He was given his nickname in reference to his hometown, El Sobrante.

Jason White (born November 11, 1973 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is an American guitarist who has played in various punk rock bands. He is most notable for being a touring guitarist for Green Day and guitarist for Californian punk quartet Pinhead Gunpowder. Jason White has been a backing member of Green Day since 1999 when they recorded Warning. He is co-founder of Billie Joe Armstrong's record label Adeline Records[1] and oversees the day-to-day operation of the label.

Jason Jeremy Freese (born in Orange County, California, on January 12, 1975) plays piano/keyboard, guitar, tenor saxophone, and backing vocals in Green Day. He is also a member of Green Day's side project Foxboro Hot Tubs. Jason has also played for other artists/bands including Dr. Dre, Weezer, Jewel, NOFX, Lenny Kravitz, Queens of the Stone Age, Busta Rhymes, the Goo Goo Dolls, Joe Walsh, Feist, The Vandals and Liz Phair. Jason is also an ordained minister and carried out the marriage ceremony of singer/songwriter Jewel and her 8 time world champion bull rider husband Ty Murray in the Bahamas in August 2008. Jason currently resides in Fullerton California with his wife Amy and son Tennessee. His brother Josh Freese plays drums with Weezer, A Perfect Circle, Sting, The Vandals and Devo, and formerly with Nine Inch Nails and Guns N' Roses.
