Suggestions[edit]

Good enough for featured portal. Please give suggestions. --Extra999 (Contact me + contribs) 11:09, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The DYK section should be documented on the talk page, otherwise, it should be deleted, since it is highly questionable that what is said there is even true. 76.66.198.79 (talk) 05:17, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the sources are :
1. (First fact) First source, Second source and the Third Source
2. (Second fact) First and only source (and its first fact)
3. (Third fact) First Source and the Second Source (and its second fact)
4. (Fourth fact) First and only source (and its seventh section)
I have also listed them in the DYK talk page. --Extra999 (Contact me + contribs) 06:27, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok i have had this problem before and we solved by adding the links --see here......Buzzzsherman (talk) 18:20, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The first "fact" is wrong, the supporting sources for it even says it is wrong. 76.66.194.32 (talk) 04:56, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You did the right thing...if source is not good..the statement should be removed,,as you did GJ...Moxy (talk) 17:38, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia[edit]

I feel like saying that wikipedia (for all its contents, not only articles, but portals and every other special page that conforms it) is a very very incredible internet site, the best one ever made which (and I quote) aims for archiving the sum af all human knowledge. I wish I could donate if I weren't poor. - 189.217.170.15 (talk) 03:39, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And I don´t feel like those previous words express how much I apreciate wikipedia; not close to the real thing. - 189.217.170.15 (talk) 03:40, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are a real champion of Wikipedia. Well, if you could not donate, please continue editing. --Extra999 (Contact me + contribs) 12:18, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think wiki is missing γ-process for supernovae[edit]

Scaling relations for the supernova γ-process and the 176Lu nuclear cosmochronometer, thanks, Marasama (talk) 15:26, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm..please add, your contribution would be really appreciated. --Extra 999 (Contact me + contribs) 03:32, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not an expert in that area. The best of my knowledge is that I know it exists and are from Supernovae. Thanks, Marasama (talk) 22:17, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Me too, needs some experts from here. --Extra 999 (Contact me + contribs) 16:47, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know?[edit]

In the section "Did you know?", there is a short text of the Great Red Spot. While this is an interesting thing, it is not really about stars, so perhaps it would be better to have it somewhere else than in the star portal. K9re11 (talk) 09:32, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice from the Portals WikiProject[edit]

WikiProject Portals is back!

The project was rebooted and completely overhauled on April 17th, 2018. Its goals are to revitalize the entire portal system, make building and maintaining portals easier, support the ongoing improvement of portals and the editors dedicated to this, and design the portals of the future.

As of May 2nd, 2018, membership is at 60 editors, and growing. You are welcome to join us.

There are design initiatives for revitalizing the portals system as a whole, and for improving each component of portals. So far, 2 new dynamic components have been developed: Template:Transclude lead excerpt and Template:Transclude random excerpt.

Tools are provided for building and maintaining portals, including automated portals that update themselves in various ways.

And, if you are bored and would like something to occupy your mind, we have a wonderful task list.

From your friendly neighborhood Portals WikiProject. Hope to see you there. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   07:46, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
