Episode Infoboxes - please clarify

I've been trying to add info boxes into those episodes that don't have them — specifically for DS9. I've noticed there are inconsistencies with regard to what number is given for the episode number value — in some, its the sequential number of the episode i.e. 155 for the 155th episode, but in others its the season number plus the sequence number for the episode in that season i.e. the 5th episode in season seven is 705.

Can someone clarify what value is to be used? The sequence number or the combination of season number plus sequence number for that season. thanks Rmkf1982 | Talk 14:42, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

AfD Debate

Joachim (Star Trek) is currently under Deletion Debate. The article could certainly use a clean up and as is will probably get deleted. That's a shame since this character does appear in both Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, plus a gazillion books. I thought I'd mention it here in case any Trek fans wanted to improve the article or comment on the AfD debate. Thanks. --Shaundakulbara 03:16, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Lists needed to replace deleted categories

Now that the categories for Behind the scenes and script writers have been deleted, the main Category:Star_Trek is overpopulated with individuals. Please would someone create some more lists for these and other people you can think of? E.g. List of Star Trek production staff is probably a good title, and only two of the series currently have their own list of cast members. Improvements

I've recently reconstructed the portal, everytime you see a red link, click it and fill it up with the appropriate content, I'll set you guys up with photos, you supply the rest! Also, I've removed the news section, Wikipedia likes to keep everything within the sister projects. Keep track of all pages created and any that are missing here. Oh by the way, the entire point of a portal is for random components, Portal:The Simpsons is considered to be one of the best portals on the Wikipedia, see examples from that. Race Headers

I've created a few random race summaries (largely borrowing from the main articles about the races). I used ==Race Name== as a header in each article, but there's been a suggestion that we shouldn't use those headers here. I think without the headers, the random races do not look as good and I don't think it's a MOS issue. Can I get some input on this look/style/design? Colors

Want to change the colors? Why red and white, is it some sort of star trek reference? I have absolutely no knowledge of Star Trek, see List of colors. • S • C • A • R • C • E • 12:38, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

When I got here, one of the first things I wondered was why that red colour. The uniforms in the movies had a primarily red with white accent (see [ [File:S02-spock's_funeral.png]]), so that might be why. One common feel is the look from the computer terminals (LCARS), as that's stayed somewhat recognizable since the TNG series... but the colour scheme there can be a little garish looking. I guess if it doesn't look horrible, we could try the shirt colours, which in a perfect world would be (Old Gold for command, United Nations Blue for medical, Upsdell Red for engineering/security). In short, ya, I'd be in favour of tweaking up the colours a bit, but I'm not much of an artist. If you have any ideas, I'd say lets play with it a bit and see how it looks. Notifying

• Just to let the project know ( and your probably already aware ) I was fixing links in Star Trek: The Original Series and noticed the redirected links of the series episodes were not all uniformed as to page name as you can see in these edit diff's

Galactic quadrant

The article Galactic quadrant is up for deletion discussion. You guys may want to save it. On a side note, your featured image is very much inaccurate as far as I can tell... and I don't even watch the show. tv.com model = problem

there is a problem with the tv.com model

example: episode Human Error (Star Trek: Voyager) : the tv.com model {{TV.com episode|26478|Human Error}} = "Human Error" at TV.com : it opens an error page

the correct link is http://www.tv.com/shows/star-trek-voyager/human-error-26478/ where the code 26478 is the one used in the model though

the same for Q2 (Star Trek: Voyager) but for Kids (House) too
