Prashant-Krishnan are the music composer duo from India. They teamed together to score music for their first film Rahu (2008). Rahu is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, an Asst. Director to Mani Ratnam for films like Guru (2007 film) and to be released Ravana. The Rahu Soundtrack features Murtaza and Qadir Khan, sons of Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan.They feature in the soundtrack for the Sufi song, Betaabi, the end-credits of the movie.
Together they have scored for jingles, ad-films, corporate films, and short films. Prashant has the reputation of working with 2 time oscar winning music composer A.R.Rahman. He was on the core team of engineers who produced, mixed and mastered, 'Notion' a Music Notation Software for Music Composition that features the London Symphonic Orchestra. Prashant also gets along with him over 3 years of Radio programming experience serving top notch private Fm radio stations - Big Fm, Radio City, S Fm and Red FM 93.5. Krishnan on the other hand has scored music for FTII graduate films before teaming up with Prashant.
In the duo, Prashant is known for his technical and creative expertise in sequencing and programming. He fuses in melodies with an array of instruments and builds a fresh uber cool soundscape. Krishnan gets in his Carnatic vocal expertise and takes the compositions to a whole new level with his spontaneity.

Prashant-Krishnan are currently working on the music score of a Malayalam Film, titled "Nayakan'. Lijo Pelliseri son of Jose Pelliseri is directing the film Nayakan. Indrajit, Dhanya Mary Vargeese and Thilakan are in lead.
Parallelly they are also working on Bejoy Nambiars thriller, 'Shaitan' which stars the Dev D female lead, Kalki Koechlin.
In 2008 the music composer duo were offered 2 Tamil films, one directed by Sudha Kongara and other other one by Milind Rau, titled "Kadhal 2 Kalyanam", but due to reasons unknown they could not take up the films.
