Primeasia University (Bengali: প্রাইম এশিয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a private university situated in Banani, Dhaka-1213, Bangladesh.[1] Primeasia University obtained approval of the University Grants Commission and the government of Bangladesh in October 2003. It is one the few private universities in Bangladesh that has grown rapidly over a short period. Primeasia University has over 6,500 students along with 80 full-time faculties and also have some part-time faculties. This university is generally famous for its B.Sc in textile engineering program. Students need to complete 176 credits in between four years following a fixed credit system to get this degree. The professors and lecturers of textile department over here are very highly qualified, plus the laboratories and equipments in this department are more than enough for any student who is willing to learn. Even in the job field, textile engineers from Primeasia university are always highly recommended.

Primeasia University has a library with huge collections of books, journals, reports, industrial training assignments and audio visual materials. All resources are classified with a DDC scheme. The library is going to be automated.
The pharmacy department has an individual library as the students are increasing day by day. The library has a collection of pharmaceutical books, journals and magazines. Students can study there from 8am to 5pm.

In textile department, students get a chance to work with every types of chemical and machines they want. Here lies the special treatment this university provides. Because due to the presence of these fine labs, students never even have to step a foot in the industries for learning before completing the B.Sc program. Such treatment is also provided by BUTEX, which is one of the best textile colleges in Asia. The yarn lab consists all kinds of machines starting from carding machine to roving frame. These are managed by skilled operators and students are guided by highly qualified lab administrators. Similarly the fabric and garments lab are managed in the same way. The wet processing lab is one of the best labs available in the country. Students get to work with any kinds of recipes they want and they get all kind of trainings to learn dyeing and finishing. Also the T.T.Q.C. (Textile Testing and Quality Control) lab is available where the students can test any kinds of fiber they want. Plus, 1st and 2nd year textile students also get to work in physics, chemistry, computer and E.E.E. laboratories where they get to learn about the fundamentals of those subjects.
