Princess Elisabeth of Greece and Denmark (Greek: Πριγκίπισσα Ελισάβετ της Ελλάδας και Δανίας) (24 May 1904 – 11 January 1955) was the middle daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia.
Elizabeth was born on 24 May 1904 at Tatoi. Like her sisters, Olga and Marina, Elisabeth was considered a great beauty. Her family nicknamed her 'Woolly' because her dark brown hair was thicker and more difficult to manage than that of her sisters. Princess Elisabeth, who was the sweetest and least-known of the three beautiful sisters, was a fearless horsewoman and a talented painter, though she cared more for horses than for art. She was extremely close to both of her more-famous sisters.
Elisabeth married Count Carl Theodor of Toerring-Jettenbach, who was known as "Toto." Carl Theodor's mother was a sister of Queen Elisabeth of the Belgians and Princess Rupprecht of Bavaria (born Marie Gabriele, Duchess in Bavaria). Count Toerring-Jettenbach was named for his grandfather, Duke Karl Theodor in Bavaria. Elisabeth and Carl Theodor had two children:
- Count Hans Veit Kaspar Nikolaus of Toerring-Jettenbach, born 11 January 1935
- Countess Helene Marina Elisabeth of Toerring-Jettenbach, born 20 May 1937 married in Munich 6 Apr 1956 (rel) Schloß Seefeld am Pilsensee 10 Apr 1956 to Archduke Ferdinand Karl of Austria (Vienna 6 Dec 1918-Ulm 6 Aug 2004); m.(civ) Helene Gfn zu Toerring-Jettenbach (b.Winhöring 20 May 1937). Mother of the well known socialite and former fashion model Archduchess Sophie of Austria, princess of Windisch-Grätz.
Elisabeth died of cancer on 11 January 1955 in Munich. She was 50 years old.
