Producers with Computers were an Essex-based rap group formed in 2006. The group's most famous line-up was as a duo consisting of Alphabet (MC, producer) and Double S (MC). In their career they released 2 mixtapes and broke up before releasing their debut album to explore dubstep music under the name WhoAmI.

History[edit]

They gained fame on MySpace with demos such as Girlies, Dog Eat Dog, and Headphones Off, a diss track aimed at Hadouken!, as comparisons had been made between the two groups.

In 2008, they supported dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip on their UK tour.[1]

Their debut mixtape, Volume 1, was released in 2008.[2] One single was released from the album: "Girlies".[3]

Their second mixtape ABC was released in 2009.[4]

Breakup[edit]

In late 2009, Producers with Computers disbanded and continued as dubstep act "WhoAmI".[5] They released a free online download of "The Best of Producers with Computers", a compilation of favourite songs, as a parting gift.
