Proletarsk (Tajik: Пролетар) is a town and jamoat in Tajikistan. It is the administrative capital of Rasulov district in Sughd Province, located just south of the provincial capital of Khujand and south-west of the cities of Chkalovsk and Ghafurov.[1]
The population of Proletarsk in 2007 is estimated at 13,700.[2]
