Wamos Air formerly Pullmantur Air is an airline based at Madrid, Spain, that operates a selection of charter flights to its owner group, Pullmantur, some charter flights to other airlines and it also operates long-haul services to several Caribbean destinations and feeder services for Pullmantur Cruises to Scandinavia from its main base Madrid Barajas International Airport.[1] It currently flies over 400,000 passengers annually.[2]

The airline unveiled its new branding Wamos Air and livery in December 2014.

History[edit]

The airline was established in 2003 and started operations on June 23, 2003 with an inaugural flight to Cancun, Mexico, from Madrid with a Boeing 747.[3] It was wholly owned by Grupo Marsans prior to its sale to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in November 2006.[3] It has 53 employees (as of March 2007).[1]
