Qorako‘l also spelled as Karakul (Uzbek: Qorako‘l / Қоракўл; Russian: Каракуль) is a town in the Buxoro Province of Uzbekistan. It is the capital of Qorako‘l District (Qorako‘l tumani). "Qoraqo'l" means "black lake" in Uzbek language.
