The song "Quirks" (Side A), was a power pop oriented song, with the style of the Ha! Ha! Ha! album.
The Side B, "Modern Love", was a live song played many times during 1976 and the first part of 1977, during the Ultravox! album tour. It was a power pop and more glam oriented song. It was demoed in the studio, according to drummer Warren Cann.
^I have a cassette dated 19/2/77 from that session in the studio, the songs are; Life At Rainbows End/Came Back Here To Meet You/Wide Boys/Satday Night/Lonely Hunter/Modern Love/ Dangerous Rhythm/Slipaway/TV Orphans/The Riff/ The Wild, The Beautiful, & The Damned.
