Formerly RAF Hucknall, Hucknall Airfield (ICAO: EGNA) is located 5 NM (9.3 km; 5.8 mi) north northwest of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.
Hucknall has been in continuous use as an airfield since 1916. Formerly RAF Hucknall, it featured in the film The One That Got Away. Hucknall Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P507) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Rolls-Royce plc). The aerodrome is not licensed for night use[2] and is not available for public transport passenger flights required to use a licensed aerodrome.[1] It is closed to visiting aircraft Monday-Friday and whenever engine testing is in operation by Rolls-Royce.[3]
Rolls Royce testing has since left Hucknall in 2008 and has moved to other testing sites across the country.
