Ra's al-'Ayn District

Ra's al-'Ayn District (Arabic: منطقة رأس العين) is a Syrian district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to Al-Hasakah Governorate. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 177,150. Its capital city is the city of Ra's al-'Ayn. It is populated by Arabs, Kurds and Arameans (Syriacs).
