This name uses Spanish naming customs; the first or paternal family name is González and the second or maternal family name is Rodríguez.
Raúl González Rodríguez (born February 29, 1952) is a retired Mexican race walker. He was born at Rancho Las Lajas, Municipality of China, State of Nuevo Leon. As of October 2011, he has held since 1978 the North American record for the fastest time in the 50-kilometer racewalk (3:41:20).
