Raškovice (Polish: Raszkowice) is a village in Frýdek-Místek District, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic. It has a population of 1,777 (2006). It lies on the Morávka River, in the historical region of Těšín Silesia.

In December 2013, it was a place of massacre when a 31 year old school teacher invaded a house of one of his students (17), with whom he had allegedly been previously intimately involved and shot the student and her grandparents, using various legally owned firearms (with caliber .22, .38 and .45). The perpetrator had further 10 firearms at home and over 10.000 rounds of ammunition; he had passed psychological evaluation before getting gun license. As of January 2014, he was awaiting trial and facing up to life in prison.[1][2]
