Rachel Weingarten is a marketing strategist, author, beauty historian and noted expert on style, marketing and trends. She is widely sought for her opinions and predictions and is regularly quoted in The New York Times,[1] CNN.com,[2] The Washington Post[3] and many others, as well as a business[4] and lifestyle writer and weekly columnist for Parade.com and contributing op-ed columnist for amNewYork. Her work has appeared in Fortune Small Business, USA Weekend, Men's Health, Brandweek, Yahoo Finance, CNNMoney.com, New York Newsday and many other publications.

Weingarten is the author of the forthcoming Ancient Prayer:Channeling Your Faith 365 Days of the Year (Fall River Press 9/14) which will be sold exclusively at Barnes and Noble stores and on BN.com. She's also the author of a best selling career guide for young women Career and Corporate Cool (Wiley 8/07) chosen by CareerBuilder.com as one of the most interesting career books of the year for 2007 and Hello Gorgeous! Beauty Products in America '40s-'60s, which inspired a week long retro beauty event at Henri Bendel department store, and is a NYC Public Library pick for 2007. Weingarten is known for her wit and irreverence and particularly enjoys poking affectionate fun at obsession with celebrity culture.[5]

Weingarten is in demand as a public speaker and addresses Fortune 100 corporations, Ivy League Universities including personal branding seminars, lectures on the subject of the history of cosmetics and women's groups and speaks on the subjects of modern business manners, MBA bootcamp sessions, personal branding and style. She lectures on Personal Branding at New York University Graduate School and Cosmetic and Fragrance History and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

In 2008, Weingarten created and acted as the on screen talent for "Enterprising Women" a series for CNN Money on women entrepreneurs. In 2011, Weingarten was featured on the Sundance Channel Series, Love, Lust and Makeup.
