Rachel Legrain-Trapani (born on August 31, 1988, Saint-Saulve, Nord) was elected Miss France in 2007.[1] Living in Saint-Quentin, she was elected Miss Aisne, and chosen to represent the region of Picardie. She succeeded Alexandra Rosenfeld as the 53rd Miss France on December 9, 2006.
Originally Legrain-Trapani was going to allow her first runner-up Sophie Vouzelaud, the first deaf or hard of hearing finalist for Miss France, to compete at Miss World 2007 however the Miss World Organization refused to accept any contestant but the proper winner.
