RADVISION., founded in 1992, is a Nasdaq and Tel Aviv Stock Exchange-traded company, which is a component of the TA-100 Index of the largest 100 companies traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by market cap, it provides products and technologies (developer toolkits) for videoconferencing, video telephony, and the development of converged voice, video and data over IP and 3G networks. Radvision solutions support SIP and H.323, as well as ISDN and 3G wireless. In December 2011, rumors surfaced that Radvision will be acquired by Avaya for $200 Million. [1]

- In 1993, Radvision developed technology enabling transfer of real-time IP video over IP networks.
- In 1994, Radvision introduced video gateways between IP and ISDN networks.
- Beginning in 1995, and working together with Intel and Microsoft, Radvision initiated standardization activities for VoIP communications systems.[2]
- In 1996, Radvision introduced its viaIP family of video conferencing solutions.
- In 1998, Radvision introduced a gatekeeper system (ECS)
- In 2001, Radvision added full SIP support for its entire product line.
