"Raion" (雷音) is Jinn's first single release. The kanji for raion translates into "thunder clap", as it is used in the song, but also means lion, as it is shown on the cover.
"Raion" was released on August 2, 2006, and peaked at 29 on the Oricon charts in Japan. It was featured as the fourth opening theme song to the anime TV series, Blood+, and is the band's first anime theme song, which was later followed by Kaidoku Funō, the second opening theme to Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.
