Rajnagar is a town and a nagar panchayat in Chhatarpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Rajnagar is located at 24°53′N 79°55′E / 24.88°N 79.92°E / 24.88; 79.92[1]. It has an average elevation of 273 metres (895 feet).It's 4KM away from World famous Khajuraho. Rajnagar is ruined by Congress and BJP parties and comes under Bundelkhand area which is Drought and Poor.

As of 2001 India census[2], Rajnagar had a population of 12,442. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Rajnagar has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 46%. In Rajnagar, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
