RakNet is a C++ class library that provides TCP and reliable UDP transport. It contains several core systems that rely on the transport layer: object replication; Remote procedure call in C++ using Boost C++ Libraries; Voice over Internet Protocol supporting FMOD, DirectSound, and PortAudio; NAT traversal; and Patch (computing).
Its source is available without charge for games grossing under $100 thousand[1], allowing use by developers of Indy or free/open source games[2].
