Rampart is an unincorporated community in Placer County, California.^[1] Rampart is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad and the Truckee River, 2 miles (3.2 km) west-southwest of Tahoe City.^[2] It lies at an elevation of 6201 feet (1890 m).^[1]
