The Bromeliad treefrog (Bromeliohyla bromeliacia) is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. The frog lives in flowers that have been filled with water during a rainstorm and may spend its entire life in a single flower. When it dies, it sinks to the bottom and releases nutrients into the water, allowing other frogs to take in the nutrients for survival.
