Rana montezumae is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is endemic to Mexico.

Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, ponds, and aquaculture ponds. It is threatened by habitat loss.
