Ras Al Khaimah IT Park launched by Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone, is an economic free zone, that aims to build advanced, high tech infrastructure to attract Information Technology companies from around the world, in an effort to emulate success achieved by Dubai Internet City. Residential rents in RAK are about a quarter of those in Dubai.[citation needed]
