Professional career[edit]

Raulzinho first played pro basketball as 17 year old in 2009–10 NBB season. He was the best young player of the tournament that time. In 2010, he was selected to play for the World Team at the Nike Hoop Summit.

After averaging 12.61 points and 2.61 assists in under 28 minutes as a 6th man for Minas Tênis Clube in the 2010–11 NBB season, he signed for Lagun Aro GBC of Spain.

2013 NBA Draft[edit]

On June 27, 2013, Neto was selected with the 47th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He was then traded to the Utah Jazz for a future second round draft pick.[1] However, he returned to Lagun Aro GBC for 2013–14.[2]

Brazilian National Team[edit]

Neto gained attention after leading Brazil Under 18 Team to an impressive runners up showing in 2010 FIBA Americas U18.[3] He followed it by being the youngest member of Brazil national basketball team in 2010 FIBA World Championship, but barely played. He also played at the 2012 Olympics for the Brazilian National Team.[4]In 2014 FIBA World Championship he played for Brazil and had a great performance against Argentina in the round of 16, when he scored 21 points and lead the Brazil to the win.
