The Red-bellied short-necked turtle or Jardine River turtle (Emydura subglobosa) is a species of turtle in the Chelidae family. It is found in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Majority of the time it is around shallow, muddy areas of water. Its cranial anatomy, embryogenesis, and skeletogenesis are well known.
