Region of Waterloo EMS is an emergency medical service provider for the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. The service provides EMS to Waterloo, Ontario, Cambridge, Ontario and Kitchener, Ontario.

Staff[edit]

Region of Waterloo EMS employs 150 Primary and Advanced Care Paramedics and Support Staff.

Fleet[edit]

  • 27 vehicles including:
    • Ambulances
    • Emergency Response Units
    • Emergency Support Unit;

Operations[edit]

EMS operates from 9 stations in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, St. Jacobs and Baden and serves the population (approximately 500,000)

  • Baden - 99 Foundry Street
  • Cambridge - 120 Maple Grove Road
  • Cambridge - 91 St. Andrews Street (Cambride Fire Station #4)
  • Cambridge - 25 Struck Court
  • Kitchener - 1035 Ottawa Street North (joint station with Kitchener Fire Station 3)
  • Kitchener - 1700 Queens Boulevard (joint station with Kitchener Fire Station 5)
  • St. Jacobs - 30 Parkside Drive
  • Waterloo - 90 Westmount Road
