Reinstatement may refer to:

  • a term used in psychology, the phenomena whereby a previously extinguished association (such as a fear) returns after the unsignaled presentation of an unconditioned stimulus (US; such as a shock)
  • a term used by Jehovah's Witnesses to describe the process in which a disfellowshipped person gets back into the religion
