Richard Albert (law professor)
Richard Albert is an American lawyer and professor at Boston College Law School. He is a contributor to The Huffington Post, and has published a number of papers and articles on constitutional law and politics, the separation of powers and issues of law and religion. He is a founding editor of I-CONnect, the scholarly blog of the International Journal of Constitutional Law (I-CON) and ConstitutionMaking.
Life and career
In 2009, Albert was appointed assistant professor at Boston College Law School.
Albert is a Senior Research Fellow at the Canadian Council for Democracy and a Distinguished Academic Associate at the Centre for Law and Religion at Cardiff Law School in the United Kingdom. He also serves as Chair of the Younger Comparativists Committee of the American Society of Comparative Law.
