Richard Lipez (born November 30, 1938 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania) is an openly gay[1] American journalist and mystery author. Richard currently resides in Massachusetts.[2] He is best known for his Donald Strachey mysteries, which were originally published under the pen name Richard Stevenson.
