Richmond High School is a public high school in Richmond, Michigan. The school is a part of Richmond Community Schools. The school mascot is the blue devil. The school colors are blue and white. In the early 1980s, some in Richmond tried to change the mascot because they were offended to be associated with the devil. The debate went on in the local newspaper editorials and in store fronts. It even made the local Detroit television news. The mascot remains the Blue Devil to this day.
