River Valley Ranch is a Christian resort and youth camp located in Carroll County, Maryland, USA.
The River Valley Ranch was founded by two Scottish immigrants. Coming from a Christian home, they chose to become ministers and try to propagate the Christian faith. In 1948 they began a Christian radio program in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1952, they founded the ranch, thinking that it could be used to reach young people with the message of Christianity.
The River Valley Ranch aims to provide an exciting and life-changing camp experience, and claims to have done so for hundreds of thousands of young people from all over the United States. River Valley Ranch is a non-denominational organization sponsored by Peter & John Radio Fellowship, Inc., a non-profit religious organization. River Valley Ranch also hosts the Christian rock band Ashes Remain semi-often.
