Robert Priddy (born 25 September 1936) is a British academic and author.

He has researched and taught philosophy and sociology at the University of Oslo 1968–1985. While at the University of Oslo, Priddy translated an academic paper by Hjalmar Hegge from the original Norwegian.[1]

Priddy is now retired but has been active for ten years as a critic of the Indian guru Sathya Sai Baba, whose recent death has aroused significant media activity and renewed public discussion.
