Robert Herring (businessman)
Robert Herring is a California businessman and founder of Wealth TV.
He was born in Rayville, Louisiana the son of a share-cropper. The family moved to California in 1948. After his father died, he dropped out of high school at age 14 and worked to support family. In 1964 he founded a small chain of pet shops in Los Angeles County. In 1972 he founded Industrial Circuits that he sold to Toppan Printing in 1988. He was the founder and owner of Herco Technology before selling the company in 2000 to Teradyne, Inc. He lives in a wealthy neighborhood and has a huge tennis court
Mr. Herring made news in March 2005 for offering $1 million to Terri Schiavo's husband Michael Schiavo to release all guardianship rights to her parents so that they could keep her alive on a feeding tube.[1] He currently lives in the San Diego area.
