Austin David Adams (born August 19, 1986) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Indians organization. Attended Stanhope Elmore High School in Millbrook, Alabama.

Adams attended Faulkner University before he was selected by the Indians in the 2009 MLB Draft.[1][2] The Indians added him to their 40-man roster after the 2013 season.[3]


Jesús Aguilar[edit]

Jesús Alexander Aguilar (born June 30, 1990) is a Venezuelan professional baseball player in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Aguilar signed with the Indians in November 2007.[4] He hit 23 home runs during the 2011 season. He and Francisco Lindor represented the Indians in the 2012 All-Star Futures Game.[5] The Indians invited Aguilar to spring training in 2013 as a non-roster invitee.[6]

Playing for the Akron Aeros of the Class AA Eastern League in 2013, Aguilar had a .275 batting average, 28 doubles, 16 home runs, and 105 runs batted in (RBIs),[7] setting an Akron franchise record in RBIs.[8] He was added to the Indians 40-man roster on November 20, 2013.[3]

Chun-Hsiu Chen (born November 1, 1988) is a minor league catcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Chen played in the 2010 All-Star Futures Game.

Timothy Dominic Fedroff (born February 4, 1987) is an American minor league baseball outfielder in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Fedroff attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he played college baseball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Indians drafted Fedroff in the 7th round of the 2008 MLB Draft. They added him to their 40-man roster after the 2012 season.[9] He won the Lou Boudreau Award, the Indians organization's minor league player of the year for 2012.[10]

Erik González (born August 31, 1991) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder for the Cleveland Indians organization.

After the 2013 season, MiLB.com named González the best third baseman in the Indians minor league system.[11] He was added to the Indians' 40-man roster following the season.[3]

Curtis Richard "Trey" Haley (born June 21, 1990) is an American minor league baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Haley committed to attend Rice University, where he intended to play college baseball for the Rice Owls baseball team. The Indians drafted Haley in the second round, with the 76th overall selection, of the 2008 MLB Draft.[12][9] He signed with Cleveland, rather than attend college. Haley pitched for the Lake County Captains of the Class A Midwest League in 2009 and 2010, but struggled with his command, as he issued too many walks.[12]

In 2011, the Indians transitioned Haley from starting pitcher to relief pitcher. He played for Lake County and the Kinston Indians of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League, but was sidelined in June and July by a groin injury. In 2012, he pitched for the Carolina Mudcats of Carolina League and the Akron Aeros of the Class AA Eastern League, but missed time due to a groin injury and a sports hernia.[12] They added him to their 40-man roster after the 2012 season.[9] Haley pitched with Akron in 2013, and was designated for assignment by the Indians after the season to make room on the roster for John Axford.[13]

Carlos Moncrief (born November 3, 1988) is an American minor league baseball player for the Cleveland Indians organization.[14]

The Indians added Moncrief to their 40-man roster after the 2013 season.[3]

Bryan Price (born November 13, 1986) is a professional baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.[15] He was added to the teams 40-man roster on November 20, 2013.

Price was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the first round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft out of Rice University.[16] He was traded from the Red Sox to the Cleveland Indians for Víctor Martínez on July 31, 2009.[17]

Robert John Whitenack (born November 20, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher.

The Chicago Cubs selected Whitenack in the eighth round of the 2009 MLB Draft. The Cubs added Whitenack to their 40-man roster after the 2012 season. Whitenack was designated for assignment and claimed by the Cleveland Indians off waivers on April 3, 2013.[18] On April 9, Whitenack was designated for assignment by the Indians.
