Rock Hill is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 4,635 at the 2010 census.

Rock Hill is located at 38°36′33″N 90°22′1″W / 38.60917°N 90.36694°W (38.609052, -90.367046)[3].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), most of it land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 4,635 people residing in the city; there were 2,064 households and 1,198 families. The population density was 4,213.64 people per square mile (1,655.36/km²). There were 2,217 housing units at an average density of 2,015.45 per square mile (791.79/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 70.6% White, 23.0% African American, 0.3% Native American, 2.5% Asian, 0.8% from other races, and 2.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.8% of the population.
There were 2,064 households out of which 24.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.3% were married couples living together, 11.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 42% were non-families. 33.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.25 and the average family size was 2.93.
In the city the population was spread out with 22.7% under the age of 20, 31.9% from 20 to 39, 32.9% from 40 to 64, and 12.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36.9 years. For every 100 females there were 96.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.2 males.
According to United States Census Bureau 2005-2009 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates[4], the median income for a household in the city was $65,438 and the median income for a family was $72,837. Males had a median income of $49,269 versus $36,250 for females. The per capita income for the city was $30,194. About 3.5% of families and 3.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4% of those under age 18 and 13.9% of those age 65 or over.
