Rock Springs is a highly regarded collection of 10 short stories by Pulitzer prize winning author Richard Ford, published in 1987 dealing with dysfunctional mothers and fathers and their effect on a young male narrator. Several of Ford's leading characters can be viewed as losers or con artists."Rock Springs" is nowadays regarded as a seminal work , one of the greatest collections of short stories ever published , it has had tremendous influence on many writers since it appeared. It stands as one of the classic works in all of Fiction.
