The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tiranë-Durrës (Latin: Archidioecesis Tiranensis-Dyrracenus) is an archdiocese located in the cities of Tiranë and Durrës in Albania.

History[edit]

  • 1300: Established as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Durrës
  • 1400?: Demoted as Archdiocese of Durrës
  • December 23, 1992: Renamed as Archdiocese of Durrës–Tiranë
  • January 25, 2005: Promoted as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Tiranë–Durrës
